Medieval Pennant Banner
Fourteen hand-dyed linen pennant flags hanging from a hand-braided linen cord.
Flags are approximately 6 × 10” with about an inch of space between flags.
Length of braided cord is approximately 9 feet.
Linen flags have raw edges. Over time they will have a worn look. This is intentional, as it adds to the Medieval-festival look.
I have been hanging one of these in my market booths for several years and its held up so well. I’ll occasionally put it into the dryer to get rid of creases, but I’ve never washed it.
I recommend hand washing and hanging to dry, if you’d like to clean it.
The colors are meant to evoke the Medieval era. All the colors are colors that would have been possible to achieve at that time, using only natural dyes.
